Strava and adidas Partner to Reward Users for Logging Activity
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – July 14, 2026 – Strava, the app for active people, and adidas today announced a new integration that turns runs, rides, hikes and walks on Strava into adiClub rewards. Starting today, Strava users in the United States and Canada can connect their adiClub and Strava accounts to earn adiClub points for eligible GPS-tracked activities logged on Strava.
With Summer in full swing, Strava users are logging off and getting outside. According to Strava data, Strava subscribers spent one hour being active for every two minutes spent on the app. Now, all of that time spent outside and exploring together can also earn something in return.
"This integration brings together two communities that share a belief that progress is built through consistency, motivation, and connection’” said Evelina Jarbin, Senior Director, Strava for Business. “Strava members can now turn the miles they're already logging into real rewards with adiClub so the activity that keeps them fit also keeps them kitted out to do more of it."
Today's announcement builds on an existing relationship between adidas and Strava. Previously, adiClub members in the United States could redeem points for a Strava subscription. Now athletes can also earn points through GPS-tracked runs, walks, hikes and rides on Strava, creating a fully connected rewards loop between the two platforms.
“adiClub is all about finding exciting new ways to reward members and fans of the brand, and that’s what we hope to achieve through our evolving partnership with Strava,” said Zaryn Jennings, VP of Global Membership at adidas. “Whether you’re going for a quick walk to clear your head or hitting a personal best, turning those hard-earned miles into adiClub points is our way of cheering our members on every step of the way."
How It Works
To begin earning adiClub points, users must connect their adiClub and Strava accounts. Visit the adidas Club on Strava and click on the "Connect account" button under "Earn rewards with adidas". The button will take you to the adiClub landing page to create or sign in to your account. Once you're logged in, grant permission to share your Strava activity data with adiClub to start earning points. Once connected, eligible GPS-tracked runs, walks, hikes, and rides logged on Strava will automatically count toward adiClub rewards.
Users in the US can earn 3 adiClub points per mile for running, walking, and hiking and 2 adiClub points per mile for cycling. In Canada, users can earn 2 adiClub points per kilometer for running, walking, and hiking, and 1 adiClub point per kilometer for cycling. Only GPS-tracked activities will count toward point accruals, meaning manual uploads will not qualify. Points can be redeemed through adidas for gear, apparel, experiences, and even a Strava subscription.
New Challenges to Kickstart Earning
The integration launches alongside a series of adidas Challenges on Strava throughout the summer and fall, giving athletes new ways to stay motivated and earn rewards. In July, adidas is challenging athletes to ditch the solo run and log miles with their community instead. Come fall, the focus shifts to race season with a two-month challenge built around one of running's most iconic distances. To join, Strava users can find these challenges when live in the Strava app, in the Challenges tab under “Groups”.
adidas Hyperboost Everyday Energy
The first challenge, adidas Hyperboost Everyday Energy, invites athletes to find their flow day after day. Athletes who stay active for at least 10 days during the challenge period will unlock the chance to win a pair of the all new adidas Hyperboost Edge and a $1,000 adidas gift card. One grand prize winner will take home the full package, while five additional winners will each receive a pair of Hyperboost Edge.
